He would go to a studio in downtown Chicago every weekend, where  classical music was being played in the background for a two-hour drawing session.  Rather than hiring a live model for himself, he opted for a cheap but open space where, the model was exposed to more than one set of eyes.  The models were oftentimes too sleepy to stay awake on the early Sunday morning, more so with male models than female ones. 

Bruno enjoys drawing "calculated yet unexpected" lines.  He draws boldness, imbalances and unpretentiousness. 

Both his drawings and paintings play imbalances which themselves in turn balance his work, a concept he learned from Japanese calligraphy.  In other words, he seeks asymmetry to balance movement in his work.
